Liverpool Women’s Hospital runs a weekly multi‑professional clinic for women with gynaecological cancers. The clinic brings together surgical gynaecological oncologists, a clinical oncologist, a medical oncologist, a palliative‑care consultant and Macmillan clinical nurse specialists. Macmillan nurses work with patients and families to answer questions, provide emotional and financial support, and discuss treatment choices. A gynaecology oncology link nurse supports patients across hospital and community services and can be contacted Monday‑Friday, 8 am–4 pm on 0151 529 3849.
